Scout Feather Adventure Survival Knife
$49.95
More than just a drop-point knife, the Scout Feather Adventure Survival Knife from outdoor element lets you spark a fire and signal for help as well as cut, chop and pierce.
- Drop-point traditional profile and saber grind make this blade incredibly sharp and strong; it’s nimble enough to whittle and strong enough to baton
- Saber grind 2.75 in. VG-10 full-tang fixed blade (6.58 in. total length)
- Extremely corrosion-resistant stainless steel with 15.5% chromium content
- Rockwell hardness HRC 58–60 holds a sharp edge
- Handle features G10 scales, ergonomic design and durable grip
- Loud, 115 dB safety whistle is attached to the butt of the knife on a reflective mini lanyard strung through the hex driver
- Hone the blade while on the go using the integrated ceramic honing V-notch in the sheath
- To throw generous sparks, strike the blade’s 90° spine (back side) against the hex-shaped, threaded ferrocerium rod integrated into the sheath
- Ferro rod is reversible and replaceable; tighten or replace the threaded 1/4 in. hex ferro rod using the hex wrench built into end of the tang
- Sheath is fully threaded so the ferro rod can be inserted backward, providing additional purchase/grip in holding the sheath and striking the knife’s spine against the rod
- Form-fitted, secure-lock sheath features a heavy-duty, configurable clip, able to be rotated and specifically designed to attach to 3/4 in. sternum strap webbing
- Can be worn around the neck by threading the cordage of your choice through the 2 larger sheath rivets; easily remove the clip if desired (just 2 screws)
