HB Alloy Offset Stopper Set – Sizes 7-11

Designed to protect irregular and flared cracks that regular nuts cannot, the DMM HB Alloy Offset stopper set in sizes 7–11 comprises asymmetrically tapered nuts with a robust 12 kN strength rating.

• Asymmetrical taper gives stable placements in offset cracks: offset taper protects cracks where normal nuts would not sit properly, such as flared cracks and peg scars
• DMM recommends using these in conjunction with Wallnuts (not included) to find security in almost any crack for comprehensive all-season crack protection
• Grooved faces improve security in irregular rock: a groove machined into their faces allows them to sit better in irregular placements and on highly featured rock
• Allows placement in 2 orientations: Passive protection can be placed either side or face on, doubling the number of cracks any single piece can protect
• Passive protection works in wet and icy conditions: Passive protection works by jamming in constrictions to prevent falls; it is suitable for use in all conditions
• Unlike active protection such as cams, passive protection can be used in wet or icy cracks, where friction is reduced
• Nuts are mounted on wires set into a recess to reduce wear
• Larger sizes have holes that reduce weight
• Certification for all sizes: EN 12270:2013
